Since it is stable, free of releases, resistant to mould and unable to absorb humidity, oils and fats from food, keeping its structural characteristics unaltered over time, it ensures optimal performance without deteriorating.
The commonly used plasticized cardboard trays tend to absorb humidity, generate foul odours, and, in some cases, degrade to the point of releasing harmful substances into the food they come into contact with. In addition, being made of composite materials, they cannot be disposed of in separate collections, aggravating the disposal problems.

A tray utterly different from those on the market, made thanks to a particular process of thermo coupling of plastics, still not very widespread, destined for outstanding performances in the food sector.
Albatros is, in fact, a thermo-fused composite polystyrene film, gold or silver colour, designed for direct contact with food. Material that is stable and free of releases, as certified by CSI spa, IMQ's international testing, inspection and certification centre, and capable of not absorbing humidity, oils and fats from food. This aspect makes it excellent support also in the packaging of smoked and unsmoked salmon.
